Lexi is talking more and more. She is in love with Cars, airplanes and dog. Recently she likes to look at bugs. So every time she sees a car she says, "Car Car Car Car Car Car" Until I say, "That's right that is a car" Same goes for airplane every time she hears one. When she sees dogs she starts to bark at them. And when she sees a bug. "EEEhhhwww Bug". She loves to play out side. I just got her a splash pool so we can stay cool. She loves to play in water. She loves to color and play with play dough. She is a big helper too. If I ask her to help me with something she will do it. If sissy drops her bottle she go over and picks it up and gives it to Hailey. She loves her little sis.

Hailey is crawling all over the place. She is not yet on her hands and knees. She does the army crawl and pushes with her feet. She can move around in the walker pretty good. She will follow me everywhere I go. She sits all by herself but cant sit up from laying down. I think she much rather crawl around then try to do that. She is starting to copy. She claps her hands, she thinks that is so fun. She is such a happy girl, when she's not hungry or poppy. ;) She wants to do whatever Lexi is doing or at least go over and see. She loves her big sis.

Utah/No Doubt

For memorial weekend we went to Utah to see family, friends and No Doubt!!! No Doubt is my favorite band and they went on tour this summer and I had to see them! So I talked Josh into driving to Utah so I could see them. The drive there was not bad. We stayed with Brandon and Sabina(Josh's Cousin). We got there Friday night and meet them at Sabina's birthday party. We stayed up partying the night away. Happy 21 Sabina! Saturday Jamie and Kenny meet up with us at a deli where we were eating and I got to see my niece Nora for the first time. She is cute and tiny. Later we went to see my cousin Dove Who lives with my sister. That night Jamie and Tricia came over to have some stir fry that Sabina made. It was so good. Sunday we just hung out. On Monday Jessica and Madi came over and we went to the park at B&S's apartment. Madi and Lexi loved to swing and slide. They are to cute. Later we went to Ikea just to waist some time before Tricia and I headed to SLC to see No Doubt. We had floor tickets so we had to get there early to be a good spot. We got there a hour and a half before the doors opened. We ended up standing center stage with one person in front of us. We did not move from our spot until the concert was over about 5 hours. We almost got to touch Gwen. ALMOST! It was awesome. I cant wait to see them again.

THE BAND NO DOUBT

No doubt it was the best concert I have been too. This was my third time seeing them in concert. Love them and there music and cant wait for their new album to come out.

So After I got home from the concert Lexi was up and all night she would not go back to sleep. I had no idea what was wrong with her. So Josh and I were so tired and frustrated the we didn't get any sleep and ended up pack up and heading home. We ended up stopping to see my friend Vanessa who had just had her baby girl. We visited with her for a while and finally went home. It was a long drive. Lexi was not happy and we found out why she was so crabby and grumpy. She was cutting a tooth. It was not a fun trip home or the next couple of days for that matter. Teething is no fun!!! Poor Lexi. I'm happy to say that tooth is in and I can't wait for the rest of them.

Not much happened this month. Hailey started to push herself up and sit up with support. Lexi was just so sweet helping mommy with Hailey. She also started talking a lot.

We didn't do much on V-day. We cleaned out our garage. While we were cleaning, Josh said out of the blue, "I want a hamster" So we went to the pet store and got a dwarf hamster. She is so cute and we named her Bubbles, cause that was one of Lexi's new words.

This month started to warm up a little. We had one really nice day so I took Lexi to the park. She had so much fun! She loved the slides and watching all the other kids.

Lexi is talking more and more. She is cutting one or two more teeth. Hailey is sitting up all by herself. She also is starting to crawl a little bit, its the army crawl, but she mostly still rolls all over. This month my mom came for a visit for a week and a half. It was so nice to have her here. She let Josh and I go out a few times. I went to work with him some nights and we went and saw a couple movies while she watched the girls. She loved it. Thank again mom. Your the best!

So tonight I sat Josh down to read our blog. I told him to read it out loud...... Wow!!! I don't make any sense sometimes. I use words that don't go and misspell all the time. I don't use the right punctuation either. Always hated English and was never any good at it. OK, I will admit it... I'm a little dyslexic. I usually use the word "the" for "to" Its just the way my fingers type I guess??? I'm so sorry to all my readers. You probably sit back and scratch your heads thinking....what??? So I hope you know what I'm trying to say........I need more then just spell check!

Playing Catch Up

Ok here is Lexi with her new back pack. You might think that she is going to school, but she's not. I got it for church. So we could put toys, snacks, diapers, wipes, etc.... in it. So I put it on her and she loved it, and did not want to take it off. In the third pic you can she that she is running away for Roxy coming in the door, to cute!!!

Here is Lexi just playing around but in style! She loves her sunglasses. She is my little diva!

This is just a cute picture. They love each other so much. Lexi is so soft with Hailey and wants to help all the time. Hailey just laughs at Lexi and I can tell she really wants to play with Lexi.

This is what I do EVERY night before I go to bed. Clean up the mess that Lexi leaves behind. Sometimes I do catch her put some things away, but most the time it looks like this. I don't mind it one bit. Last week I just put the girls in the same room together. Hailey was in our room. So both cribs are in the same room and it is working out pretty good so far. They both sleep though the night so one does not wake the other. I'm so blessed to have such good sleepers.

DON'T MESS WITH THE BUNNY!!!

Lexi has this pink bunny and it is her favorite animal. Thanks to aunt Jenni that got it for her when Lexi was born. Jenni she LOVES IT! Anyway... She takes this bunny anywhere and everywhere she can. She can not sleep without it. She hugs it, kisses it, sleeps with it, plays with it, puts it in Hailey's swing when shes not in it, and sometimes eats with it(if mommy lets her) So you can only imagine how dirty it can get.......

Here it what happens when she sees me put it in the wash. I know I know..... Poor Lexi, but it needs baths too. I do not like to see her cry at all!!! So I think the next bath bunny gets, I have to sneak it.

Here is Hailey always happy and smiling. The first picture is her newest thing. I don't even know what it is called, but I always wanted one for Lexi when she was little. They are so expensive. I got this one at Target on sale for $20 usually $50. I thought that it was a good deal and had to get it. Hailey loves it. She is starting to grab at things and notice what her hands are for.

The next pic is when Lexi was trying to play with Hailey and gave her and showed her all the toys she was playing with. Hailey LOVED it. Hailey would just giggle and smile at her the whole time. It is the cutest thing ever.

My best friend, Tiffany come to visit us last weekend. Tiff and I have been best friends for 14 years. We meet in 6th grade and where inseparable, until she moved to Cali the summer after our freshmen year. I was so sad that she moved away, but we have stayed the very best of friends all these years. We would see each other every year. But the last time I saw her was 3 years ago and she finally made a trip up to see us. It was so much fun seeing her and hanging out again. Nothing really to catch up on, since we talk to each other 3 or 4 times a week sometimes more. Anyways she got here on Thursday. We just hung out at the house.

On Friday we went shopping at the mall and had a blast. We both love to shop! After shopping we went to eat sushi. Josh and I have never had sushi in our lives. But Tiff loves it and told me that when she comes to visit that we have to try it. Well...... It was alright. I like the sushi rolls. Was not a fan of just the raw fish. I would have the rolls again. But I would only go with someone that knows sushi.

On Saturday Tiff and I went snowboarding. Josh told me to go and that he would stay at home with the girls. I did not want to go with out him, but he made me go. It was nice to take a break for a little bit. So we went about 11am and headed up to Bogus Basin. I have never been snowboarding until Saturday. Tiff has been once, two years ago. So here we are, have no idea how to do it. It was so fun though. We were on the bunny hill all day. The first time we went down it took us like an hour to get down. ha ha. Then we took a break and got lunch. Then back to the bunny hill. ha! We were there until about 5pm. We could have stayed until 11 that night. But we were so tired and I missed my babies.

On Sunday we went down town to meet Heidi, a friend from middle school and high school. She lives here in Boise. Small world. I saw Heidi at the mall when we first moved here. Some one called my name, I turned around and it was Heidi. Anyways we meet her and her fiance for lunch and had a great time. After lunch we drove around and showed Tiff the town, and took pics before Tiffany had to leave. It was so good to see her. She loved the girls and was so cute with them. The little pink jump suits that Lexi and Hailey are wearing are from Tiffy. To CUTE!!! They love their auntie Tiffy!!!

5 hour dinner

On Friday I got Josh to take the night off. I wanted to go eat at P.F. Chang's and go to Target. So we got ready and of course took the girls with us. Its not easy for us to leave them behind.... We left the house at 6pm. Drove to the restaurant and got our name on the list. The wait.... an hour and a half long! Ok we don't mind waiting, but it's not easy to keep a one year old entertained for that long. But it was ok. After watching party's of two get called and then watching the same couples leave before we even got called, it was almost 8. Good thing we weren't starving!!! So we finally got to our table and strapped Lexi in her highchair! The hole time we were there, there was this older couple keeping Lexi entertained. Our table was by the bar and the guy kept making faces and Lexi would copy. It was fine, but then that couple got their table and it was right next to us..... I was thinking oh great! But it was fine they were really nice and kept Lexi happy the hole time. Hailey was fine the hole time. She just sat in her car seat. I did have to feed her a couple of times. She is so easy at this age. So we got done and to our car about 10. Then we were stuck trying to get out of the parking garage for 45 min and got home at 11. Over all it was a go night but OMG!!! That was the longest dinner I have ever done. It really didn't cost us that much either. We got a gift card for P.F. Chang's from Josh's grandparents for Christmas. So tip was $7. Parking was $10. 2 movie rentals at the redbox $2. 5 hour dinner trip with the girls priceless!!!We never made it to Target that night. Obviously!

Baby Blessing

On Sunday Hailey got her baby blessing from her daddy. I love baby blessings they are so special. Hailey is such a blessing to our family. I love her and Lexi with all my heart. It is a blessing to be a mom. I enjoy everyday with my two most beautiful girls, and love to watch them grow up and play together. I am blessed to be able to stay home and care for them. I love you girls!

This Christmas we had it at our house. It was the first time that I had cooked a turkey dinner for everyone. I must say that it did turn out pretty darn good. My parents and little sister came up here for a week. Tricia(my sis) arrived at our house Christmas eve. That night we got the girls in their new Pjs and we also got Tricia some pjs too. Got the girls off to bed and started rapping presents. Christmas morning got up and started to prepare the turkey to put in the oven. We got the girls up and opened presents. It was so fun watching Lexi open her presents. She would rip a piece off and hand it to us, rip a piece and hand it to us. So funny. Hailey just sat in my lap and watched Lexi run around. My Parents got here Christmas day. We had Josh's grandparents over for turkey dinner. After dinner we opened some more presents. I love Christmas! It is my favorite Holiday. I was so blessed to have my sister and parents come. We love you guys! And thanks again for everything!

That Friday we all went to the Stealheads hockey game. Josh's uncle Joe and Cousins(Ben and Brian) were there and had seats right next to us. It was so fun and the Stealheads won! On Saturday Josh and my dad went to work. While us girls went to the mall. Sunday just chilled out at the house. Monday we went on a train ride along the Payette river. It was so beautiful with all the snow. On Tuesday I think was just another chill day. Josh worked all that night Tuesday and didn't get home till 7:30 Wednesday morning. He got me up and we got ready to go to a wedding in McCall. It is about a 2 and half hour drive north. We were there for the wedding and headed home about 8 that night. So Josh has not slept since he got up Tuesday morning to go to work. Got back to help tear down all the stuff for our ward New years party. Because Josh and I are on the activities committee at our church. So we felt like we need to help. Oh yea on Tuesday we helped set up for the party. So we got home that night about one in the am and didn't go to bed til about 2. Josh has been such a trooper! He was well over not sleeping for 24 hours. He did not complain once. I love my husband! And then Thursday we all got up and went out to eat before my mom, dad. and sister left. We had so much fun.

My New Years resolution is to eat better. No soda or sugar! For those that know me. I love soda and its going to be hard! But I want to lose weight and I'm going to be back in my bikini this summer! Wish me luck.

On Tuesday Josh and I went to his company Christmas dinner/party, at a really nice restaurant, called Barbacoa. We ended up dropping off Lexi at Gma's and took Hailey with us. Hailey is kinda attached to me. We had a really nice time. Josh and I shared a Filet Mignon on a rock. It was really cool. It comes out cooking on a hot rock and they set this sauce on fire and poor it on your steak. It was so cool! It was the first time I have every tried Lobster tail and scallops too. I am not a fish person, but i must say I did enjoy it, and will have it again someday. We also had live music. It was a one man show, but OMG he is so good. He song and played the guitar. But not only that he would do a beat on his guitar and record it and then replay it for the song he was going to sing. I don't know how to explain it, but he was amazing. and so was the food.

We got some snow here in Idaho. Not a hole lot, but enough to make Josh and I happy. We are hopping for a White Christmas. Never got one in AZ....maybe one. So we better get one here! Maybe this year I'll finally get to go snowboarding!?! I hope so. I have always wanted to go and Josh said that he will take me this year. We will see.... Stay turned.

The other night we were getting Lexi ready for bed, and put Hailey in her bed with her. Lexi loved it. I can't wait until they can sleep together. I can just see it now and how they will cuddle each other. Lexi just loves her little sister. Hailey loves her big sister too. Every time Hailey sees Lexi she just smiles so big, and lets off a little giggle. I love it! Every time Lexi gets a hold of a bottle she goes right to Hailey and tries to feed her. Its so fun watching Lexi and trying to play with Hailey. I just love them so much!!!

I don't have any of picture of the girls in the house. We really needed some pictures of them. I've been wanting to get family pictures done for awhile. I want them done professionally, but its so much money. So I decided to do my own of the girls. No, they are not the best, and yes, I could have done better. But at least now I have some pictures of the girls up on the walls. Finally! At least until I can go get them done. I don't know how they can get a one year old to sit still and smile at the same time. It was not easy. Lexi did really good with Hailey. She sat still and smiled cause she just loves her sister. Time for an update. First of all, I hope that everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We did excited for the part when I got really sick on the night of my birthday. Yeah no fun. Well, For Thanksgiving we went to Josh's grandparents house. Gma and Gpa had a pretty full house. Some of Josh's aunts, uncles, cousins, and there kids were there, about 15 people. We had a good time. The next day was my 26th birthday. Yeah I know I'm getting old! We didn't do much. Josh made my favorite breakfast. Chocolate chip pancakes. We got ready and left the house about 4pm. Waisted some time at the mall. Ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. And tried to go see 4 Christmas's. Well we didn't make it though the first 3 minutes, cause Lexi would not sit still. Its a good thing that they reimburse you if you have to leave. So we got some movies at the red box and went home. Later that night I got really sick throwing up and all. Yuck not sure if it was food poisoning or the flu? No fun! Ruined the rest of the weekend. But I'm better and thank goodness that the girls and Josh didn't get sick. I hear its going around, so wash yours hands a lot! ;)

New Car

Even though everyone is down sizing with how the gas prices are, and the economy. We on the other hand are upgrading. We got a new(used) car well.... SUV. Our little Honda was not cutting it having two kids now. We needed something bigger and more room. So my dad ended up finding this Suburban in Prescott for a really good deal, and we could not past it up. Josh ended up flying to Prescott to get it and drove it back. Its good to have a bigger car. We don't really go anywhere so its not really that bad in gas. Everything is really close to where we live. Now we have room for our family to ride with us, when they come for a visit. Looks like my parents are coming for Christmas. Yay! Can't wait. This will be their 4th time coming since we moved. So now we can fit 4 more people in the suburban. We could not even fit one person in the Honda, the carseat took up all the room. It's been really nice to just get in the back seat and feed Hailey, and change the girls. I rather change the girls in the car where its clean then in a gross public restroom. I love it.! Thanks to my dad for finding it for us! Our Honda is up for sale. I hope someone will buy it. Not very many people are buying right now, so we'll see how it goes.

Ok so for Halloween Josh and I didn't dress up. Josh had to work that night and we never got our costumes done. :*( But I did dress the girls up. Lexi was a lady bug and Hailey was a bunny. I bought Lexi's and made Hailey's. We ended up going to Gma and Gpa's house to hang out and hand out candy to the kids. Lexi had fun seeing all the kids. She wanted to go outside with them and would fuss a little when we shut the door. I was bummed that Josh had to work even though we had nothing planned. I had fun at Gma and Gpa's house. Thanks for having us!

So nothing has really happened since Halloween. We are just hanging out and watching the girls grow up. Lexi is walking all over the place now. Hailey still sleeps a lot, but smiles a lot while she is awake. I have to say the I am so lucky to have the best girls in the world. I'm so grateful to be a mom and that my girls are so good to me. I thank the Lord every day for the life of them and sending them to me. I can't imagine my life with out them. Josh and I love them so much and would do anything for them. Its true that life is not the easiest with kids but SO WORTH IT! I thought that I would have a hard time with 2 so close together and so far its been ok. Lexi loves to help with Hailey. If I feed Hailey a bottle Lexi would want to hold it. If Hailey is crying, Lexi will go over to her and rock her or at least try to comfort her. Its so amazing how a one year old knows want to do sometimes. Lexi make me laugh everyday. And sometimes she makes me cry, but a good cry. If I'm holding her at night before I put her down for bed. She will hold me and play with my hair and its just so cute and can't help it to tear up a little. Gosh I love that girl! I can't wait for Hailey to grow up and they can play. What a fun weekend!

This weekend Josh's cuz and his wife(Brandon and Sabina) came for a visit. We had so much fun while they were here. We stayed up way to late and ate to much. Its been a long time since I stayed up like we did. The night they got here, Josh had to work. He didn't get home until 5 in the morning. We stayed up and wait for him. While we waited we played guitar hero. We didn't go to bed til 6am. We got up about 11am got ready and went to the mall. Sabina and I found some amazing deals at this cute store called Vanity. Its my new favorite store. I'm trying to change my look, and that that's the store to do so. I'm such a Tshirt and jeans type of girl. I'm sick of it and time for a change. On Saturday we went to the indoor kart track and the boys raced. Josh's dad just moved to Boise and is living with his parents for the time being, and they meet us there. Josh, Brandon and Chris(Josh's dad) raced. While Sabina, Gma and Gpa, and I with the girls watched. I did not mind watching. It was fun watching the guys be like little boys and having fun. After each race they all had the biggest smiles on their faces. After that we went down town and walked around a little bit. We had fun in a store called Anthropologie. Its one of our favorite store down town. It's this cute vintage store. Sabina and I had so much fun taking pictures with some accessories. We also walked down this ally way to look at all the graffiti on the walls. We saw some people talking pictures ,and thought we should take our own pictures. That was fun too. On Sunday we went for a bike ride along the river all the way down town, which is a pretty long ride. About 6 miles or more, just to down town then we had to ride back. We rode our bikes down town and had some lunch and headed back. It was such a nice day. The trees were all changing colors it is so pretty. Wondering what we did with the girls? We took them with us of course. We pulled them in trailers behind our bikes. Josh had one and I had the other. Lexi loved it! Hailey slept the whole time. Brandon and Sabina left Sunday night. We wish they could have stayed a little longer! We had so much fun with them! We all get along so well together. I hope someday we can be back together soon :) ha.

Excited for Halloween

Today I got Lexi's Halloween costume. She is going to be a Lady bug. I'm thinking for Hailey she will be a pink bunny. Since the baby costumes that they have at the stores are not that cute. I will have to make it. Well it's not that hard, just get some pink sweats and make ears out of a headband. As for Josh and I.... Heck yeah we are going to dress up! Even tho we don't have any plans to go or do anything, we are still dressing up. We have been making own costumes for 3 years now. Well..... Josh is going to be Jack from Jack in the box, and I'm going to be Wendy from Wendy's. We wanted to dress the girls up to match us some how, but could not think of anything cute. We thought maybe they could be little Wendy's, but didn't like that idea. We looked up different mascots for fast food and while there was nothing cute for little girls. So when I saw the Lady bug costume at Target, I could not resist. I could not wait to get home and put it on Lexi. Here is a video of Lexi walking around the house with it on. Sandy, Jani, and Jordyn's visit

On Monday night Sandy, Jani and Jordyn(Josh's mom and little sisters) came in for a visit and stayed til Saturday. We had so much fun. I loved watching the girls play with Lexi. Lexi Thought it was so fun to have someone her size around. She loved Jordyn. They played with each other so well I was really surprised. Jordyn has so much energy for a four year old. Her 4th birthday is on Monday the 13th. Happy Birthday Jordyn! Jordyn was so cute, she would go around the house telling Lexi to follow her. She would say in a soft voice "Baby Lexi come on baby Lexi" Jordyn would want to hold Hailey and she would hold her for like a minute and want to go play. She is to cute! Jani loved playing with Lexi too, she also loved to hold Hailey and she would hold her forever if she could. Jani was so good with both the girls she is a little helper, and she is only 10, well almost in Nov. She is so grown up already. Jani made Lexi and Hailey the cutest blankets, she even made one for Lexi's baby. Thanks Jani for the cute blankets. And Sandy loved every minute she got with both the girls. She is so good with girl since she had 4 girls herself. She loves to buy the girls new toys and clothes just like any Gma would do. Jordyn had a drawing board and Lexi loved to draw on it, so when we went to Target Sandy got her on, and some toy bottles for her baby that she got for her birthday. She loves her new toys. Sandy got Hailey and music box that lights up and sings twinkle little star. She also got both the girls matching outfits they are so cute! Thanks Sandy we love you! Anyway about what we did while they were here. We went shopping and Target for a couple of hours, which I love to do cause I love Target. Josh and I go there at least twice a week. Sometimes we just chilled out at the house and played. We went to the zoo. The girls just had a blast there. They love animals. I was impressed with the zoo and we will probably go back again. We loved to watch the monkeys, Josh and I could watch them all day. It was a cold and rainy day but we still had fun. It was fun taking pics of the girls. We also curved pumpkins. Jani curved her pumpkin all by herself! She did an awesome job. Jordyn drew a cute face on hers and mom curved hers out. Both the girls did an awesome job. I was impressed. Then it was sad to let them leave but I hope that they can come back a visit again. I had lots of fun! Thanks for everything Sandy! You are the best mother in law I could ask for I love you! Thanks to Jani and Jordyn too. I love and miss you girls so much!

Well it is officially fall here in Boise. It went from 75 degree whether to below 50 over night this week. And last night it snowed!!! Yep snow! Maybe it went from summer to winter and skipped fall. I could not believe it. So today the mountains were covered with snow. Its so pretty, but really cold. Lexi loved looking out the window at the snow falling. I got some pic that you will notice in the slide show. Hailey is doing well. She is just to cute! She doesn't do much. You know she's so little all she does is eat, sleep and poop, eat, sleep and poop and poop some more. I love it! Well enjoy the slid show.

Ok time for an update! So its almost been 4 weeks since Hailey was born. I must say that we are all doing pretty good. My recovery is going very well. Josh has been home a lot to help. It good to have Josh around when ever I need him. That's the perks of working your own schedule. We both love the job he has. Anyway, Hailey is doing very well! I wish that I had more pictures of Hailey, I do but they are on my phone and I don't have the cord to put them on the computer. I will take more so I can post them for all my readers. But tonight we got video of Lexi walking all by herself for the first time. We are very excited about this. As you watch the video you may notice her hair is crazy, that's cause of the ponytail she had in earlier. But I must say that she is just to freaking cute!!!

Hailey Marie Christiansen was born on September 10th 2008 at 12:02 pm. She weighed 7lbs 3oz and was 20 3/4 inches long. We went in for a c-section at 10am in the morning and got rolled in to surgery at about 11:30. We were in the hospital for only two days and that was a surprise. We thought that we would be there until Saturday cause Thursday I was not doing go at all. The night that Hailey was born i did not get any sleep at all! So early Thursday morning I was not feeling good and was very itchy from the morphine. So I asked the nurse to get me something for the itchiness and something to help me sleep and she did. Well that was not a good idea. I was out all day Thursday! And Josh had to do everything with Hailey. Like he had to feed her so he would pop her on my boob and try to feed her while I was asleep. Yeah I could not even wake up to feed my own baby. Josh would wake me up and feed me too. I did not even wake up for my visitors. Josh was so tired cause he didn't get any sleep either for like two days. I finally came around about 11:30pm Thursday night and was back to normal. Friday I was up and walking around and the doctor said that we could go home. My parents are here staying for a week and helping out with Lexi while we were in the hospital. That was a blessing. Lexi and my parents had a blast hanging out together. Lexi did not even mind that we weren't there. She loves her grandparents! Thanks mom and dad for all your help! We love you so much! We are all home and happy and healthy.

So I've been wanting to cut my hair forever now and wanted to go short. Well yesterday I got brave and went and got it cut all off! I think I like it so far. I'm never to sure about cuts right at first. You know you have to go home and play with it for a couple of days. I think Lexi thought I was a different person at first cause she would look at me funny. Anyway.....What do you all think about it??? Not the greatest pictures of me.

Today was Lexi's first birthday!!! I can't believe that she is a year already. Time FLIES! Well today we had a little birthday party at Josh's grandparents house. They has us over for Pizza and I did make and decorate the cake. For those turning in to see how it turned out well....... I think it turned out pretty good for my first time. It did not turn out the way I'd hoped on the decorating but I'm happy with it anyway. Hey its my first time ever to decorate a cake like that. I think Lexi will enjoy the pictures when she is older. It is so nice to have some family here and to be able to celebrate Lexi's birthday with. So we ate Pizza and had some cake. It was fun to watch Lexi eat it. After that we opened presents. She made out for her first birthday! She got two cute out fits, a book, socks, a doll and a stroller from her great grandma and grandpa Christiansen. Thanks grandma and grandpa for all the thoughtful things that you do for us and Lexi, and for sharing Lexi's special day with us at your home. We love you! From mommy and daddy she got a pop up toy, learning purse that had a bunch of things she can put in it, and her our phone. She is only one and she already has her own purse, phone and baby! Spoiled girl. Its ok I love it, she is such a girly girl. Well daddy does buy her hot wheels and she loves to play with those more then anything sometimes. She is differently going to be into cars. That's ok. Well I hope that you enjoy all the pictures and the videos.

Boise has a fair just like any other town does. Well being from a small town in AZ their fairs wasn't the greatest. So being in a new town I wanted to check it out. So we thought we needed to go some time at night being its been so hot here and me 9 months prego it would cooler, and we wanted to go sometime during the week so it wasn't so crowded. We didn't end up going until Friday night. BIG MISTAKE! It took us like a half hour to park. At first I was excited until we started walking throw the crowd. It was so hard to push the stroller around cause there was so many people. I could not look at anything cause I was so worried that someone might hate Lexi in the head for something. So we went to see how she would act around the animals. We found a lot of cows and she would just look at them and kinda giggle, it was cute. But the smell was not cute. We did not last long. Before we left I wanted to get some Indian Fried Bread! Well they don't have that. They had something called Elephants ear. Which kinda looked like fried bread. We ask some one in line if it was like fried bread and he gave us a funny look. He has never heard of fried bread? I was like what? So I thought we keep looking for it anyways. While we walked away from the Elephant ears, Josh said to me "they don't have Indians in Idaho" So I was bummed not to get my fried bread that I've been craving ever since they started putting up the fair. I had to settle for funnel cake. It was still good. Well needless to say my fair experience was not the greatest. But it was a big fair compared to the one back home in Prescott, AZ. I didn't get to many pictures but here are the ones I did take.

So yesterday I was in the baking mood I guess. So since Lexi's first birthday is coming I thought that I would tempt to make and decorate her a cake. I have never decorated a cake in my life. I thought that I would practice and well..... I did not come out like I thought it would. Josh like it! Can you tell on the frosting side he eat it. On the other side it did not come out of the pan like it should have. So turn in for the final one after Wednesday and see pictures of Lexi eating it. After that I made some banana bread and it turned out great! I love banana bread. While the bread was baking I starting to make the cookie dough and put it aside in the fridge until I was ready to bake them. I was really tired after that! Being 9 months prego and on my feet the hole time I was ready for a nap. Never got one :( Well here are some pictures of my baking enjoy. I know you want to eat them!

OK so Lexi's hair is starting to get longer and I just cant wait anymore for it to grow. I want to put pigtails and bows in her hair so bad. So I thought it's long enough to start. The first time I put three pigtails in and thought it was to cute. I would not go out in public with three, but I do do the two a lot. Josh and I think that she looks to cute. So this weekend we thought we needed to get Lexi a new walker, one she can push around. We went to Target and got her one that's like a stroller. It's so cute. She loves it and pushes it every where. Sunday Josh made pancakes for breakfast. We love chocolate chips in our pancakes! They are the best. We thought Lexi would want one, so Josh made her one with chocolate chips in it. If I was the one making it I wouldnt put any in hers. Well..........she loved eating it, but mostly loved smashing it with her hands and rubbing it everywhere. It was very entertaining to watch.

For all those who don't know. I'm having a c-section on the 10th of September. We well welcome baby Hailey Marie Christiansen into the world! We are so excited. Yep I guess I'll be naming all my girls Marie as a middle name. I just love that name and it goes so well with Lexi and Hailey. Middle names are not easy. Yep mine is Marie too for those that didnt know that. I think that its cute to name them all the same. Thats the latest on baby Hailey.

My Parents came to visit again! Yeah They love it here. They came on Tues the 15th and my sister Tricia come on the 17th and they all left on the 22. We had fun while they where here. I'm so bummed I didn't take more pictures. Well... One night we went to a baseball game, the Boise Hawks they WON! It was a lot more fun then when me and Josh went. We drove up to Bogus Basin which is a ski resort and we will probably never take that drive again. The road was the curviest road I have ever been on and well almost everyone got sick. We road bikes along the river that's always fun. Wish I got some pics of that. We spent some time in a motorcycles shop, my mom and dad were looking for riding jackets cause they just bought a bike. Lexi loved to set on the motorcycles, when we took her off she would cry she didn't want to get off. Josh is so proud I guess we'll have to get her one when she is older. The last day they were here we went to the Water Park. My readers are probably getting sick of all the water park pics sorry. We all had a blast just floating the lazy river since that's the only thing I can do. Josh, my dad and Tricia did go off and ride some rides will me, my mom and Lexi played in the kiddy pool. Oh I did go down on slide. One of the slides at the kiddy pool Check out the video. I was afraid to do it cause I'm prego but I wanted to see if I could do it so if I wanted to take Lexi I could. But I wont go on it again. I fell on my bum and hurt it. Anyways we all had a fun relaxing week while my parents and sis came and cant want till they come back.

4th of July weekend

For the 4th we headed to Utah to see Josh's mom(Sandy) and his 3 younger sisters (Jamie, Jani and Jordyn). Jamie is married to Kenny and living Utah and they are expecting their first baby in Dec. She has the cutest little belly already, and you can tell they are so excited to have a little one. Jani is 9 and Jordyn is 3, they are so cute and full of energy. I only got a pic of Jordyn and don't know why I never go one of Jani. I so bummed I didn't take more pictures. They are so cute around Lexi. They just love to be by her and play with her. I miss them so much! It was good to see mom after moving away from her. We miss her, she is such a loving and caring person. We Love you MOM!!! Wish we could have stayed longer. We also got to see Josh's Cuz Brandon and his wife Sabina. Josh and Brandon are really close and we get along so good. We had fun hanging out with them. I also got to see one of my good friends Vanessa and her little boy. We went and had lunch with her, and hung out for a couple of hours and was really good to see her and catch up. Well, we had fun while we were there, but the drive was not so fun. We had to pack everything into our little Honda accord. We had to take all the baby stuff, that takes up our hole trunk and then we had to take the dog and her stuff and our stuff on top of that. Well Josh is not a very good traveler. He hates making stops, and well I have to stop and pee all the time and it frustrates him cause he just wants to get there. And our little car it not comfy at all. Plus Lexi crying cause she has been in her car seat way to long. Well needless to say I don't think we will be making any more road trips for a long time. Oh on the 4th it was Josh's birthday!!!! He is 25. He is so lucky cause he gets fireworks on his birthday every year! Before we left to Utah I thought that it would be cute to paint Lexi's toenails red,white, and blue for the 4th and I did mine to match. I'm such a dork but I thought that it was cute. While we were in Utah we went to Provo to walk around all the tents that were set up, and we found some bracelets and Josh picked out a bracelet for Lexi. I thought that it was the cutest thing. If you look close enough at the pictures you can see the cute little bracelet on Lexi. Anyway I hope that everyone had a good 4th.

Lets do a little catch up. Let me see.... On Tuesday Lexi and I went to the water park with a friend of mine from church. She has two little boys and one is Lexi's age. A couple of her friends with their kids were there too. So I guess you can call it a play date. It was fun even though the whether was not that great. Thanks Amber for inviting me as your buddy. Cant wait to do it again!

On Friday Josh, Lexi and I went to the water park again and used our free passes. It was a nice day. Lexi just loves the water, and I'm so glad. We just might have to get a season pass cause Josh and I love it too. Something sad happened Friday as well. My parents dog Nicki has been sick. He had a heart problem and my dad did everything he could to help he live a little longer. But sadly he had to be put down. He was our family pet that we had for 12years and he was the best dog. He it loved and will be missed!!! :(

Today we went to the Hawks game which is a Minor league baseball team here in Boise. Lexi's first baseball game. She sat in her own chair most the time. We got a picture with the Mascot and she got her first baseball. She was more into the mascot then the baseball she got. Lexi would just look the the hawk and giggle. The Hawks lost badly but we still had fun.

Today we went to ROARING SPRINGS water park here in Boise. We had so much fun. We waited until after 3pm to go cause its like $6.00 cheaper. Lexi loves the water. We floated in the Lazy river, but its was not so lazy there are so many people in it, it should be called the crazy river. But it was not a problem, all the people will stop just to look at Lexi. All we here is "Awwww look at the baby she is so cute" We also had fun hanging out at the kiddie pool. Josh to0k Lexi down here first water slide, well first slide ever. Check out the video. Well after about 3 hours we were ready to go and we left at the right time. It was a nice day all day up until 6:30. A storm was coming and they closed the park. They usually don't close until 8. Well since they closed it everyone in the park got a free pass to come back another day. We were so excited to get a free pass!!!

My Parents came to visit for a whole week. I was so excited to share where we live. We love it so much here and now that they visited us they know why we didn't go back to AZ. They loved it here too. And are making the plains to move here when my mom retires. We had so much fun while they were here. We drove up to McCall, its about 2 hours north of Boise. Its a very little town but it has a lake and a ski resort. It was beautiful. We also rode our bikes along the Green Bel, which is a read made for bikes that is right beside that Boise River. You can walk, run, ride a bike, a skateboard, or rollerblades on the green belt. So you don't have to worry about car traffic which is nice. My parents had a lot of fun doing that. Other than that we just hung out. My dad went repoing with Josh a few times and he loved that. Josh and my dad also rode motorcycles that Josh repoed, and they also had fun. I think that my dad misses having Josh around. They have so much in common and get along so well. My mom had so much fun just hanging out with Lexi and me. She just wants to hold Lexi forever. It was good to see my mom. I miss her a lot. We miss my parents now that they are gone. We hope that they come back soon. Miss you mom and dad!!!! Come back!!!

I've been trying to figure out this hole blog thing for a while now. So Here is my first blog. So what's been going on in the christiansen family??? Well a lot. We moved from Az to Boise Id in Feb and we are loving it. We moved here for a job Josh was starting here for a builder in AZ. Well to make a long story short, it ended up not working out and josh was out of the job. Bob the builder that sent us up here wanted to move it back to Az and asked us to move back and run in there. Well we weren't about to make another 1000 mile moving trip back. The trip here was the trip from Hell. So we stayed and josh was out of work for three weeks. It was really scary. But we are bouncing back. Josh got a job working for a repo company and he loves it! Well some days when he gets the cars. As for me. I stay at home with Lexi and making another baby girl. I'm due in Sept. We are going to name her Hailey. We are not to sure about a middle name yet. We are so excited for her to get here. I'm not a good pregnant lady. I hate being prego its not fun for me. Even though this one is a lot better than when I was prego with Lexi. I'm not as sick and can actually eat. So I guess its not to bad. The one thing that I love about being prego is that i love to feel the baby move! Its the most amazing thing in the world. Well there is a little update about our lives. And we will see how this blog thing goes.
